University Cardenal Herrera - CEU (UCH-CEU) is a prestigious private university in Valencia, Spain. It is part of the Foundation CEU - Saint Paul which is the biggest educational group in Spain. Foundation CEU - Saint Paul includes two other universities (University CEU - Saint Paul in Madrid and CEU - Abbot Oliba in Barcelona), many primary and secondary schools and different centres of study (MBA, Senior University, etc). CEU stands for Centro de Estudios Universitarios, which means University Studies Centre.
The history of UCH-CEU dates back to 1971, when the first private school of Law was founded in Valencia. The University gained its current name in 2001.
The University has three Schools: Social Sciences, Health and Experimental Sciences and Technical. It boasts two beautiful modern campuses in Moncada (12 km from Valencia) and Elche (Alicante). Dentistry students are based in the Moncada campus, while medical students will be studying in Castellon de la Plana.
UCH-CEU currently provides high quality teaching to over 10,000 students from all over Spain, especially the regions of Valencia, Murcia, Majorca, Ibiza and Albacete. Every year, it also welcomes a rapidly growing number of international students.
